Infectious Disease Society of Gujarat (IDSG) is a professional organization of Infectious diseases physicians and microbiologists in Gujarat. The association was found in year 2012.
The association is aimed to make awareness amongst doctors and the general population regarding infectious diseases. For the same, IDSG will conduct regularly activities.
Infectious disease physicians are doctors who involved in diagnosis and treatment of various infections ( viral, bacterial, fungal, spirochetal, protozooal, helminthic) as well as fever of any cause.

Our Mission

  • Give information regarding latest advances in diagnosis and treatment of different types of infections to the doctors and general public.
  • To spread awareness in doctors regarding judicial/rational use of antibiotics.
  • To prepare doctors, general population and different organizational bodies for emerging and re-emerging infections.
  • Educate and train Undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Our vision

  • To do different activities to prevent antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
  • During the situation of any outbreak or epidemic of infectious disease, come forward and do maximum to curtail it.
  • Awareness program for the general public about different common infections like Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, Tuberculosis etc.
